I write to better understand my world, the world of others and to bring something more to the lives of the people who read my books.

I adore stories with historical settings so vivid and accurate that it feels like you’ve traveled back in time, romances between characters that make you feel like you’re falling in love yourself, and themes of family dynamics, femininity, hidden lives of quiet historical characters and nature as a vehicle for all of the above. 

I strive to write engaging narratives with realistic, conflicted characters that stay with you beyond the page, stories that make you see the world from a different perspective, or change the way you think or see yourself or others, with words that blend the line of story and poetry.
